Kind of lame, but also kind of awesome. I feel like the curatorial departments glee in this incongruous mashup shows through just a tiny bit too much (just think! Ice Cube! He’s a rapper talking about Californian design at an Eames House! Let’s get him to compare architectural concepts to song design) but hey, we have a beautiful city (sometimes) and its nice to get a highlight of that. Also, Ice Cube studied architectural drafting? that’s really cool.
